All products05 / BROADCAST

From venue signal to live stream, automatically.

Smart Broadcast is the streaming layer of the DS platform. Fixtures schedule themselves into streams: the system creates the YouTube broadcast and writes that ingest target straight into the venue's AI-camera event. Signals contributed into the DS media server are recorded, get verified game data burned into the picture and restream to partners — with restreams and downloads carrying a per-recipient forensic audio watermark.

CAPABILITIESWHAT THE SYSTEM DOES

Designed around the work, not the software.

Token-protected RTMP and SRT ingest, FIBA-aware score overlays rendered from live data, multi-partner restreams and automated YouTube distribution.

01

Protected ingest

Token-validated RTMP publish into a self-hosted media server, plus a newly shipped per-match SRT gateway that gives each stream its own dedicated port — built for venue encoders that cannot send a stream id.

02

Data-driven overlay

An FFmpeg burn-in renders score, game clock, per-quarter team fouls with FIBA bonus colours, timeouts and team logos — refreshed every three seconds from six live data sources across three sports.

03

Fixture-to-air automation

Streams are auto-created five days ahead and activate 30 minutes before tip-off. The YouTube broadcast, a reusable per-arena stream and the playlist are provisioned and bound automatically — and rescheduled when the match moves.

04

AI-camera orchestration

League-wide mapping of clubs, teams and venues to Pixellot AI cameras, a per-fixture diff view for mismatches, sync locks near tip-off, and Sportradar/Atrium stream subscriptions pointed at the right ingest.

05

Partner restreaming

Up to five destinations per match, each with its own encode in a quality or low-latency profile. Destination URLs are encrypted at rest, and one failing partner can never take down the main stream.

06

Broadcast operations console

Stream health at a glance — healthy, no signal, overlay down, offline — plus venues, storage, schedule and audit views, with Telegram alerts when something needs a human.

WORKFLOWHOW IT OPERATES
01

Schedule

The fixture provisions its stream, YouTube broadcast and camera event automatically.

02

Produce

Monitor signal health while the overlay renders verified live data onto the picture.

03

Distribute

Publish live, restream to partners, and keep the DVR recording flowing into clipping and VOD.

OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE

Built for the conditions sport actually creates.

Performance is more than raw speed. It is continuity at the venue, clarity for the operator, trustworthy data and predictable output for every connected audience.

ContributionRTMP + SRT

Token-protected publish; the newly shipped SRT gateway reserves a dedicated port per match at a 300 ms latency setting.

OverlayData-linked

Graphics follow the verified score and clock from live feeds, with per-source delay compensation.

RecordingDVR-native

The live stream is the recording — clips cut in one to two seconds and timestamps stay valid in the VOD.

ProtectionWatermarked

Per-partner forensic audio payloads mean a leaked feed identifies its recipient.
